AMM 241 - Engine Performance Lab


Credits: 10
LAB hours per week: 20
Introduction to fuel injection systems. Students will study fuel pumps, fuel filters, fuel injection system operation, diagnosis and repair and emission systems related to fuel injection. Students will learn to use automotive scan tools, automotive oscilloscopes, engine analyzers, gas analyzers and other specialized fuel system tools and equipment. The course is structured to provide students with the background knowledge to take ASE certification examinations.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C- or higher in AMM 220 AMM 221 AMM 230 , and AMM 231 .
Corequisite(s): AMM 240 .
