Credits:1-3 LEC hours per week:3 This course examines fabrication theory and explains in detail the process of concept, design, and drafting of fabrication weldments. In addition to layout, topics include assembly welding and thermal distortion. This class also explores limitations and practical applications of fabrication equipment as well as covering machine maintenance and safety standards. Prerequisite(s):Grade of C or higher in WELD 202. Corequisite(s):WELD 213 and WELD 223. Course Outcomes:
