WELD 202 - Pipe Welding

This course examines Welding theory in detail as it relates to Pipe welding of different sizes, and all positions with the processes of SMAW, GTAW, and OFW. It also includes base metal identification, filler electrode selection, basic machine maintenance. Safety standards for all processes are covered.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or higher in WELD 103.
Corequisite(s): WELD 212 and WELD 222.
