DRMA 252 - Intermediate Acting II Credits: 3 Audition methods and preparation for advanced acting. Course Outcomes:
- Demonstrate an ability to exhibit a wide range of characterizations/emotions.
- Ability to play against type.
- Exhibit diminishing self-consciousness and increasing self-confidence in live performance tasks.
- Define and apply standard terminology of the acting profession.
- Analyze and interpret a wider variety of textual materials and theatrical genres for performance.
- Demonstrate an increasing mastery of effective audition techniques.
- Control personal tendencies/habits while employing proper techniques of vocal and physical expression necessary for live performance.
- Evidence respect for the differing talents and abilities of other artists/performers.
