SPAN& 123 - Spanish III


Credits: 5
Introductory course for students wishing to learn Spanish as a second language. Provides a foundation for practical interpersonal communications. Topics include pronunciation, basic grammar, reading, writing, and an introduction to Hispanic culture.
Course Outcomes:
 

  1. Exchange information both orally and in writing.
  2. Conjugate verbs in the present perfect tense, for varying subjects in written and oral Spanish.
  3. Explain the diversity of cultural influences both in student’s own culture and those of Spanish-speaking countries.
  4. Discuss the future.
  5. Compose and narrate a story.
  6. Formulate and support an opinion.
