ESTE 202 - Introduction to Solar PV and Applications Credits: 3 LEC hours per week: 2 LAB hours per week: 2 The fundamental concepts required for safe, code-compliant design and installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems will be covered with a focus on grid-direct solar electric systems. The core concepts necessary to work with all PV systems, including system components, site analysis, PV module criteria, mounting solutions, safety, and commissioning will be taught.
