CAP 098 - Corequisite for ENGL& 101

CAP 098 is a course to be taken concurrently with ENGL& 101. This course focuses on student development of structural and stylistic writing skills with a concentration on expository, critical, analytical, and persuasive essay techniques. Additionally, this course focuses on the composition of well-developed sentences, paragraphs, essays, and the writing process.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or higher in ENGL 087, CAP 087, or IELP 087, appropriate placement, or permission of the chair or designee.
Corequisite(s): ENGL& 101.
