BIOL& 175 - Human Biology With Lab Credits: 5 LEC hours per week: 4 LAB hours per week: 2 BIOL& 175 is a biology course designed for non-science majors that presents a general overview of the human body including structure (anatomy), organization and function (physiology). This course has a lab component and will survey all of the systems in the human body. This course will investigate the range of human organization from molecules to cells to organs to organ systems to the organism as a whole. This course is a lab version of BIOL& 170 ; students may not earn credit for both BIOL& 170 and BIOL& 175. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 087 or AENG 100 with a grade of C or higher or appropriate placement; or permission of the Science Division Chair or designee. Recommended: READ 088 or higher.
