SOC& 101 - Introduction to Sociology

This course explores the relationship between the individual and the larger social structures to better understand the organization of society and social processes. Students will critically examine inequities that are perpetuated by social structures with hierarchical organizations across social categories like race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, health and ability, age, religion, family, and environment.
