HPER 167 - Yoga II

This activity course will emphasize the practice of yoga. Concurrent enrollment in HPER 166  required.
Corequisite(s): Students must enroll in both HPER 166  and HPER 167
Course Outcomes:
  • Demonstrate safe and accurate yoga poses.
  • Correlate yoga movement with affected muscle groups.
  • Outline yoga techniques and practices in relation to stress management.
  • Explain the lifetime fitness value of yoga.
  • Design a cutomized yoga workout plan.
