HPER 167 - Yoga II Credits: 1 LAB hours per week: 2 This activity course will emphasize the practice of yoga. Concurrent enrollment in HPER 166 required. Corequisite(s): Students must enroll in both HPER 166 and HPER 167 Course Outcomes:
- Demonstrate safe and accurate yoga poses.
- Correlate yoga movement with affected muscle groups.
- Outline yoga techniques and practices in relation to stress management.
- Explain the lifetime fitness value of yoga.
- Design a cutomized yoga workout plan.
