AGSY 360 - Agricultural Systems Management

This course will provide students with an understanding of the essential issues associated with the productivity of current agricultural systems, including areas of land acquisition and tenure; diversification of risk; programs, services, and subsidies; labor rights; as well as personal and community well-being. Students will engage with local subject matter experts to inform the structure of their individual and co-designed preemptive management plans. Formerly: SAS 360.
Course Outcomes:

Construct management plans
Apply knowledge of critical issues in management plans
Identify points of assessment and entry in plan
Predict potential consequences of various solutions
Create system resiliency by evaluating and addressing critical components
Evaluate the critical components necessary to create system resiliency within agricultural systems management
Articulate a strategic implementation plan for the appropriate stakeholder, in report form
