BUS 310 - Foundations of Leadership Credits: 5 LEC hours per week: 5 Examines concepts of leadership and its relationship to management, including business models of leadership, organizational behavior, decision-making, and attributes of effective leadership. Students will determine their leadership style and apply leadership strategies to real world business problems. Course Outcomes:
- Determine individual leadership styles.
- Distinguish differences between leadership and management.
- Compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of various leadership styles.
- Explain the effects of leadership style on organizational environment.
- Apply principles of leadership with individuals, groups, and organizations.
