Designed to give students a background in basic legal terminology. The student who successfully completes this course will understand the ‘language’ of legal professions in a contextual application of the terminology. Formerly: OT 228.
Course Outcomes:

Understand basic legal terminology.
Demonstrate how to use legal references.
Create professional legal documents.
Identify corrections required in proofreading a legal document.
Produce, prepare, assemble, and distribute legal documents for each area of the law studied.
Construct usable documents.
Identify how procedures are done in students’ own states.
