Continue to build upon skills in framing methods, roof framing, sliding, roofing materials, and insulation installment. Topics range from building materials, the proper and safe use of tools and machines, and the major processes of building construction. On-site work including: exterior finish, roofing insulation, sheet rock, taping, and texture.
Course Outcomes:

Practice industry safety regulations.
Explain window schedules.
Frame rough openings, inside and outside corners, windows, and doors.
Install lock sets.
Identify different types of soffits.
Describe different types of siding.
Demonstrate the types of nailing procedures.
