ECPE 071 - Parent Toddler Relationships

Group observation and participation experience for parents of three year olds to study and discuss relevant parenting topics. Discussions are enhanced through the use of current literature, videos, and guest speakers. Observing and interfacing with children three years old provide the laboratory experience.
Course Outcomes:

Participate in a variety of parent education discussions.
Learn songs, finger play, and creative activities to share with children.
Participate in guiding children through the socialization process.
Share the responsibility of bringing healthy snacks and supervise children while eating.
Learn to appreciate and value the uniqueness of each participating child in the laboratory experience.
Improve and strengthen observation skills.
