PSYC 111 - Psychology of Relationships Credits: 5 LEC hours per week: 5 Personal discovery of the factors that influence interactions including friendships, romantic relationships, work interactions, and family interactions. Skills in personal communication, active listening, feedback, self-disclosure, empathy, assertiveness, and conflict management are developed. Course Outcomes:
- Define and explain psychological terminology related to self and relationships.
- Explain psychological factors contributing to individual differences and the diversity of relationship behaviors.
- Apply assessment tools and principles of interaction to the understanding of self and relationships.
- Evaluate their own relationship behaviors across personal and social domains.
