Personal discovery of the factors that influence interactions including friendships, romantic relationships, work interactions, and family interactions. Skills in personal communication, active listening, feedback, self-disclosure, empathy, assertiveness, and conflict management are developed.

Define and explain psychological terminology related to self and relationships.
Explain psychological factors contributing to individual differences and the diversity of relationship behaviors.
Apply assessment tools and principles of interaction to the understanding of self and relationships.
