GEOL& 208 - Geology of Pacific NW Credits: 5 Examines the geology and geologic history of the Pacific Northwest. Topics include volcanoes, earthquakes, plate tectonics, rocks and minerals, faults and folds, mountain building, and glaciations. Student will chose a nearby location to examine local geology out-of-doors for the term project. Formerly: GEOL 210.
