CJ 204 - Constitutional Law Credits: 5 Study of the Constitution of the United States and its provisions and amendments. Topics include various decisions of the Court involving constitutional application of due process relating to arrests, searches, seizures, confessions, and prisoner rights. Course Outcomes:
- Develop a broad perspective on the field of criminal justice.
- Become familiar with major court decisions and their impact.
- Develop an understanding of the criminal justice system and itï¾’s philosophy and operation.
- Understand and use terminology and legal terms applicable to criminal justice.
- Develop a knowledge base of contemporary criminal justice methods and programs.
