CMST& 210 - Interpersonal Communication Credits: 5 Theory and practice of communication; understanding self and others while working to improve effective communication and conversation in one-on-one interactions in academic, professional and interpersonal settings. Course Outcomes:
- Develop a range of effective interpersonal skills to build positive rapport and manage conflict within personal, academic, and professional relationships
- Develop and articulate interpersonal communication skills that empower both self and others
- Create strategies to communicate through grief, loss, anger and other difficult situations
