Introduction to the basic services of cosmetology.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Practice safety and. sanitary measures in all phases of Cosmetology designated for beginning students.
  2. Complete all skill assignments.
  3. Use communication and interpersonal skills with clients and peers.
  4. Practice Washington State Cosmetology regulations and laws.

Course Topics:
  1. Haircutting, trimming and (razors/scissors) Shampoo, Rinse, Draping and Safety
  2. Manicuring, Pedicuring and Safety/Sanitation
  3. Facial, Massage, and Safety
  4. Permanent Waving
  5. Intro to Color and Safety
  6. Infection Control
  7. Rollers, Pincurls, and Safety
