CS 280 - Novell SUSE Server Credits: 5 Provides experience in designing and building a local area network. Includes installation of the NOS (SUSE Linux), user accounts groups, security, application software, printers, menus, and accounting. Course Outcomes:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the design and construction considerations in building a LAN (Local Area Network).
- Assemble a LAN.
- Install NOS (Network Operating System) (NetWare 3.x).
- Construct user accounts, groups, and security.
- Install application software, printers, menus, and accounting.
