Introduction to the management of a Windows Server. Topics include installation and use of management tools (including Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Windows Internet Name Service, and Remote Access Service), NWLink transport protocol, and integration into a NetWare network.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Demonstrate knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System.
  2. Plan and install Windows Server.
  3. Manage User and Group Accounts.
  4. Manage Clients and Servers.
  5. View and monitor a NT Server.
  6. Manage Disk and File Systems.
  7. Manage Print Services.
  8. Configure Internet, Intranet, and Remote Access.
  9. Demonstrate knowledge of contingency planning and recovering from Server Failure.
