CS 276 - Windows Server Credits: 5 Introduction to the management of a Windows Server. Topics include installation and use of management tools (including Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Windows Internet Name Service, and Remote Access Service), NWLink transport protocol, and integration into a NetWare network. Course Outcomes:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System.
- Plan and install Windows Server.
- Manage User and Group Accounts.
- Manage Clients and Servers.
- View and monitor a NT Server.
- Manage Disk and File Systems.
- Manage Print Services.
- Configure Internet, Intranet, and Remote Access.
- Demonstrate knowledge of contingency planning and recovering from Server Failure.
