DT 192 - Cooperative Seminar Credits: 2 Students explore issues related to their cooperative work experience focusing on effective workplace relationships and how self-knowledge, perception, attitudes, and behavior affect these relationships and job satisfaction. Students will also learn effective learning skills for workplace and educational success. Course Outcomes:
- Analyze the characteristics of leadership.
- Evaluate the major roles of a leader.
- Differentiate between leadership and management.
- Examine interpersonal behaviors and the resulting effect on working relationships.
- Analyze stress and its impact on effective leadership.
- Differentiate between the basic types of conflict and examine methods of facilitating conflict resolution.
- Examine management attitudes and the need to plan for change.
