DT 186 - Advanced Mechanics Credits: 1-10 Study of specialized machinery. Study and skill gained through working on specialized equipment such as farm equipment, logging equipment, trucks, and heavy equipment. This class will emphasize ASE/NATEF competency completion. Course Outcomes:
- Analyze equipment failures.
- Practice work safety.
- Employ troubleshooting skills.
- Estimate parts cost.
- Evaluate repair time on projects.
- Evaluate personal progress on NATEF task list.
