ECPE 051 - Parent Toddler Relationships Credits: 2 Group observation and participation experience for parents of one year-old children to study and discuss relevant parenting topics. Discussions are enhanced through the use of current literature, videos and guest speakers. Observing and interacting with children age 12-24 months provide the laboratory experience. Course Outcomes:
- Participate in a variety of parent education discussions.
- Learn songs, finger plays, and creative activities to share with children.
- Participate in guiding children through the socialization process.
- Share the responsibility of bringing healthy snacks and supervise children while eating.
- Learn to value the uniqueness of children in the laboratory experience.
- Participate in a variety of parent education discussions.
