ECPE 041 - Baby and You II Credits: 2 Observation and classroom experience for parents and infants birth to 12 months. Development of the infant and the changing family relationships are studied. Parents attend class with their infant. Course Outcomes:
- Provide a support group for parents by allowing them to share common concerns, problems, and successes of parenting.
- Increase the parent’s knowledge of infants and their needs and development.
- Enrich the relationship between parent and child through exercise, play, and song.
- Emphasize the importance and value of parenting and provide information and tools to minimize stress and manage time.

- Sleep patterns
- Bonding/attachment
- Early brain development
- Changing family relationships
