EV 131 - Essentials of Winery Compliance


Credits: 2
An introduction to winery compliance covering application processes, recordkeeping and reporting requirements for the Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB), the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), and the Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR).
Course Outcomes:
 
  1. Explain the process of acquiring state and federal winery licenses and permits.
  2. Identify and practice daily/monthly/annual reporting requirements for WSDCB, DOR, TTB.
  3. Explain wine label requirements and the COLA approval process.
  4. List requirements for wineries to make donations of wine and participating in wine industry events.
