FYE 101 - First Year Experience Credits: 3 Students become active, responsible, and successful learners through this course. Upon completion, students will articulate a clear understanding of strategies required to meet their life goals and be prepared to take necessary steps. Course Outcomes:
- Explain your purpose and intentions for attending WWCC.
- Articulate personal challenges to college success.
- Evaluate multiple strategies as well as resources to meet articulated challenges.
- Imagine and develop possible solution(s) to remove barriers to success.
- Implement at least one solution to a personal challenge and evaluate your solution(s) and results.
- Name approaches to make connections with people who have different experiences, perspectives, beliefs, and values.
- Examine financial goals including personal budget and paying for college.
- Respond to an activity that fosters a Sense ofBelonging with peers and/or with the greater college community.
