JD 192 - Human Relations Seminar

Students explore issues related to their cooperative work experience focusing on effective workplace relationships and how self-knowledge, perception, attitudes, and behavior affect these relationships and job satisfaction. Students will also learn effective learning skills for workplace and educational success.
Course Outcomes:
 

  1. Develop an awareness of group dynamics and teamwork in the workplace.
  2. Develop effective strategies for conflict resolution in the workplace.
  3. Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  4. Communicate the complaint, the cause, and the action taken to correct the problem.
  5. Use software applications and technical equipment appropriate for task.
  6. Exhibit professionalism as listed in “Guidelines to Success” policies.
