NA 112 - Nursing Assistant Review

Students enrolling in this course review content and skill performance areas that are expected on the Nursing Assistant State Exam. Students have access to practice exams, skills videos, simulation lab and a skills evaluation with instructor feedback. Must provide proof of completing a Nursing Assistant Program in Washington State.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Apply the standards of the National Nursing Assistant Aide Program (NNAAP) examination to the performance of 22 skills in the simulated test environment.
  2. Demonstrate five (5) of the NNAAP Exam skills in a simulated test environment.
  3. Select appropriate responses to psychosocial and physical needs of clients.
  4. Analyze the role of the Nursing Assistant in the clinical scenarios.
  5. Prioritize area(s) for independent study for the NNAAP Exam.
  6. Evaluate readiness for taking the skills portion of the NNAAP Exam and develop a plan for further independent practice.
