Study of origins and characteristics of maladaptive behavior with emphasis on scientific research on the causes and treatment approaches to psychological disorders. 
Course Outcomes:
  1. Distinguish among theoretical perspectives within psychology and apply them to psychological disorders.
  2. Define and explain psychological terminology related to disorders and treatments
  3. Explain the the diagnostic features of disorders in the DSM-5-TR
  4. Distinguish among treatment models for psychological disorders

  10. Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders
  11. Feeding and Eating disorders
  12. Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders
