Students will plan and make a proposal for a 3 to 6 month work experience and explore leadership skills in a turf related industry.
Course Outcomes:

Formulate personal career goals.
Evaluate potential workplace projects.
Develop a workplace project proposal.
Describe the characteristics of an effective leader, the major roles of a leader, and the difference between leaders and managers.
Compare and contrast interpersonal behaviors and their resulting effects on work place relationships.
Describe possible solutions for workplace issues.
