ACCT 303 - Intermediate Accounting III Credits: 5 Continuation of ACCT 302, Intermediate Accounting II. This course covers business capital structures, interim reporting, and advanced analysis of domestic and international financial statements and standards. Course Outcomes:
- Apply accounting principles to long-term obligations including pensions, post-retirement benefits, and leases.
- Apply the full disclosure principle in financial reporting.
- Prepare and explain a Statement of Cash Flows using both the direct and indirect methods.
- Analyze the effects of income taxes on current and future periods.
- Analyze the effects of international and domestic accounting standards on financial reporting.
- Evaluate the impact of accounting changes and errors on financial statements, including changes in estimates and principles.
