ACCT 303 - Intermediate Accounting III

Continuation of ACCT 302, Intermediate Accounting II. This course covers business capital structures, interim reporting, and advanced analysis of domestic and international financial statements and standards.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Apply accounting principles to long-term obligations including pensions, post-retirement benefits, and leases. 
  2. Apply the full disclosure principle in financial reporting. 
  3. Prepare and explain a Statement of Cash Flows using both the direct and indirect methods.
  4. Analyze the effects of income taxes on current and future periods. 
  5. Analyze the effects of international and domestic accounting standards on financial reporting. 
  6. Evaluate the impact of accounting changes and errors on financial statements, including changes in estimates and principles.
