HSC 057 - Introduction to Career Pathways


Credits: 1-2.5
This course introduces students to the opportunities for advancing their education and career skills through various pathways offered at WWCC. Emphasis is placed on understanding program requirements and financial planning. Credit can be earned for only one of these courses: HSC 057 or CAP 057 .
Course Outcomes:
  1. Identify pathways available at WWCC.
  2. Evaluate pathways related to career and technical education.
  3. Identify acceptance requirements for programs of interest.
  4. Evaluate their own educational and career interests, areas of strengths, and growth opportunities.
  5. Design individualized education plans related to their interests and goals.
  6. Develop financial plans to meet the educational costs for a chosen pathway or program.
