CARP 285 - Advanced On-Site Work I: Interior/Exterior Credits: 9 On-site work include: plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and applications; the layout and construction of chimney and fireplaces will be covered. Course Outcomes:
- Maintain a safe and professional practices used in a construction environment.
- Manage supervisory tasks.
- Evaluate how HVAC systems are used in a building.
- Examine the appliances used in a building.
- Install drywall on interior walls.
- Use roofing flashing techniques.
- Apply paint and primer to the interior and exterior of building.
- Construct window and door frames.
- Install interior trim, exterior trim, and siding.
