Coursework includes: installation of door frames, interior wall finish, window and door trim, installation of cabinets and flooring.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Recognize behaviors used in a safe and professional construction environment.
  2. Compare uses of pocket doors, pre-hung doors, and lockets.
  3. Explain the types of insulation used in a building’s attics, crawl space, and joists.
  4. List the uses of paint and primer for the interior and exterior of building.
  5. Identify types of siding.
  6. Explain the techniques used for cabinet and counter top installation.
  7. Compute the amount of tile required in for a designated area.
  8. Describe techniques used in driveway, patio and/or other types of concrete flat work.
  9. Identify areas where touch ups and punch work are required.
