CAP 042 - Biology IB

Biology IB is the second of two courses covering the life science of biology, including energy and ecosystems; reproduction, genetics, and inheritance; development and growth; and interaction and interdependence among organisms.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Apply the scientific method to investigate the physical world.
  2. Identify and analyze current issues involving biology and society
  3. Describe the diverse set of reproductive strategies that organisms use.
  4. Explain human reproduction, inheritance, embryology, and growth and development over the human life span.
  5. Investigate and describe the interdependence and interaction of organisms within an ecosystem.
  6. Apply scientific principles in lab and field experiments.
