Course Outcomes:

Diagram and describe the components of a plant cell.
Compare and contrast various forms of propagation.
Explain the influence of plant growth regulators and hormones on plant development.
Describe the interactions between organelles, pigments, hormones, and environmental conditions in photosynthesis and respiration.
Illustrate the transpiration cycle and describe factors affecting transpiration rate to a specific plant species.
Identify deficiencies, modes of transport, and tissue evaluation methodologies for essential nutrients.
Interpret tissue tests and provide nutrient recommendations.
Describe plant growth and development within different growing environments.
Discuss modern plant breeding techniques and recognize public concerns.
