AGBS 108 - Computer Application In Agriculture Credits: 5 Introduction to microcomputer applications using Microsoft Office software that reflects the agricultural industry. Providing basic computer skills and competency for further development in the course and the workforce. Students may not receive credit for both AGBS108 and CS110. Course Outcomes: Development and coverage of these outcomes will be conducted through the lens of the agricultural industry in preparation for the student’s future workplace application.
- Manipulate graphical user interfaces with mouse and keyboard operations.
- Create, edit and save a written document with a word processing program using available reference material.
- Define terminology related to computer components and software applications without aid of reference material.
- Create, rename, copy and move computer folders and files using disk and file management software with aid of reference material.
- Create, modify and save a worksheet with a spreadsheet program including graphics using available reference material.
- Create, modify and save a database with a database program using available reference material.
- Create, modify and save a presentation with a presentation graphics program using available reference material.
- Create and send an e-mail with an attached file with no errors.
