Introduction to the principles of agri-business management. Identifies a practical system of farm record keeping with analysis of these records.
Course Outcomes:
 
  1. Discuss the purpose and importance of business records.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of accounting basics.
  3. Compare and contrast the components of record keeping systems.
  4. Create and summarize records of daily and annual business transactions.
  5. Produce financial statements for financial analysis, tax preparation, and credit applications.
  6. Prepare an amortization schedule.
