Computerized accounting systems, emphasizing various elements of an integrated general ledger package will be discussed.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the flow of accounting data and the organization of the application by module.
  2. Execute efficient set up of a new business.
  3. Utilize built-in systems for account analysis, managerial control, and general reporting.
  4. Assess financial reports for accuracy and be able to track back through the accounting system to correct errors and create policies and procedures to prevent such errors in the future.
