AGSC 197 - Project Design

Students will plan and propose a workplace or research project and explore workplace leadership skills. Students will work on job application, interview skills, and workforce readiness. 
Course Outcomes:
  1. Summarize personal career goals.
  2. Organize a work experience in the industry.
  3. Describe the characteristics of an effective leader, the major roles of a leader, and how leadership differs from management.
  4. Compare and contrast interpersonal behaviors and their resulting effects on workplace relationships.
  5. Describe possible solutions for workplace issues.
  6. Develop resumes and cover letters to apply for positions.
  7. Establish job interview skills.
