AGSC 197 - Project Design Credits: 1 Students will plan and propose a workplace or research project and explore workplace leadership skills. Students will work on job application, interview skills, and workforce readiness. Course Outcomes:
- Summarize personal career goals.
- Organize a work experience in the industry.
- Describe the characteristics of an effective leader, the major roles of a leader, and how leadership differs from management.
- Compare and contrast interpersonal behaviors and their resulting effects on workplace relationships.
- Describe possible solutions for workplace issues.
- Develop resumes and cover letters to apply for positions.
- Establish job interview skills.
