AHSE 146 - The Communication Link Credits: 1 This course focuses on the importance of communication skills of the patient navigator in facilitating effective patient care and advocacy. This is the fifth course of a seven-course series. Course Outcomes:
- Describe effective communication skills required for the patient navigator role.
- Demonstrate interviewing strategies to reduce social and cultural barriers to health care.
- Recognize ways to manage conflict and build trust through communication.
- Analyze the impact of health literacy on patient health.
