ANSC 274 - Beef Cattle Production Credits: 5 Study of the economics and management strategies for raising and marketing the various types and classes of beef cattle. Course Outcomes:
- Analyze the production cycle of different classes of cattle.
- Identify and illustrate costs of beef production.
- Prepare and summarize financial statements for a ranch operation.
- Apply knowledge of production and financial statements to banking and procuring financing.
- Prepare a strategic ranch management plan.
