BUS 495 - Business Management Capstone Project: Part 3 Credits: 2 The series of Capstone Courses are designed to integrate all knowledge learned in the BAS Business Management programs. The courses provide the student the opportunity to utilize the knowledge gained through their degree coursework in the form of a final project. Students will propose and plan a workplace or research project, or a business plan for an entrepreneurial venture. Students’ chosen projects will be organized and tailored around the interests and needs of the individual student. Structured to provide an atmosphere of individualized research and study paralleled by professional expertise and guidance.
In this course, students will complete work on the final parts of their business projects including an executive summary and presentation. Students will present their final project to a panel of business community members. Course Outcomes:
- Summarize goals of proposed undertaking.
- Evaluate results and outcomes of chosen undertaking.
- Define the structure, sequence and scope of the business project.
- Explain all aspects of a business concept.
- Develop a compelling business presentation.
- Write an executive summary
