Assess and develop human relations skills through a skill building approach with an emphasis on self-esteem and maintaining positive attitudes.
Course Outcomes:
  1. Explain the purpose and importance of human relations skills in our multicultural society.
  2. Demonstrate a global perspective including sensitivity needed in the workplace to successfully interact with individuals of diverse race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, culture, or sexual orientation.
  3. Recognize, describe and employ effective problem-solving and goal-setting skills in a diverse workplace setting.
  4. Compare and contrast best practices for leaders within an organization.
  5. Demonstrate critical thinking skills by analyzing both business etiquette and social/ethical responsibilities in a modern business environment.
