BUS 157 - Human Relations In Business Credits: 5 Assess and develop human relations skills through a skill building approach with an emphasis on self-esteem and maintaining positive attitudes. Course Outcomes:
- Explain the purpose and importance of human relations skills in our multicultural society.
- Demonstrate a global perspective including sensitivity needed in the workplace to successfully interact with individuals of diverse race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, culture, or sexual orientation.
- Recognize, describe and employ effective problem-solving and goal-setting skills in a diverse workplace setting.
- Compare and contrast best practices for leaders within an organization.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills by analyzing both business etiquette and social/ethical responsibilities in a modern business environment.
