This course provides a detailed examination of the properties of matter and is intended for science majors in fulfillment of the AS Degree (Option I) or Engineering lab science requirements. Topics may include the study of aqueous equilibria, atmospheric chemistry, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, coordination compounds, and organic chemistry. This course satisfies the chemistry requirement for the nursing degree. Formerly: CHEM 123.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or higher in CHEM& 162.
