ART 169 - Sculpture III

A continuation of the theory and application of three-dimensional forms in space using a variety of media such as clay, plaster, wire, steel assemblage, and bronze.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or higher in ART 168.
Course Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate an advanced proficiency in and create works using basic sculpture materials in order to improve technique.
Develop a visual language as it pertains to sculpture in order to enhance the expression of ideas.
Explore the historical context and evolutions of the art making processes in order to better understand visual mediums.
Identify their own creative processes and their relationship to the environment to improve sustainability in self-expression.
