AUDIO 123 - Digital Audio III

This final course in digital audio prepares students to create project templates, from controlling the startup behavior of Logic Pro to all its functions. Students learn to use the automatic naming of channel strip settings and color code multiple channel strips at the same time. They also learn how to customize input and output (I/O) settings, save audio plugins to the user folder, and use anchors as timing reference. Students import video into Logic Pro and score to video.
Course Outcomes:

Create custom recording and mixing project templates for various audio jobs.
Set up recording software behavior in the settings.
Rename and save changes made on audio plugins in user folder.
Customize and name I/O settings.
Import video and use anchors as timing reference.
Select proper bit depth and sample rate for each audio project.
Monitor CPU usage from audio plugins and audio latency.
