Introduction to the basic services of barbering. Practice in basic shampoos, haircuts, trimming facial hair, hair styling, facial shaving, artificial hair, safety, and sanitation.
Course Outcomes:

Utilize safety and sanitary measures in all phases of Barbering designated for beginning students.
Apply hair and skin care skills.
Use communication and interpersonal skills with clients and peers.
Practice Washington State Barbering regulations and laws.
